Away from the reefs, blue water carries billfish through the Andaman Sea. Black marlin and sailfish follow the currents and bait schools, with yellowfin tuna, wahoo and mahi-mahi around them.

We troll a spread of lures along current lines and floating debris. When a billfish rises, all the anglers on board work together. All billfish are released in the water.

What to expect

Long runs offshore. Trolling days start early.
Chances at black marlin and sailfish, with tuna, wahoo and mahi-mahi in between.
Easy fishing for mixed-ability groups. Everyone takes turns on the rod.
Billfish are released in the water, following IGFA-style handling.
