Jigging in the Andamans

The drop-offs around the Andamans fall fast into deep blue water. Dogtooth tuna, amberjack, rainbow runner and huge groupers patrol the pinnacles there.

We fish speed jigging for dogtooth and amberjack, and slow-pitch jigging for reef species. The fights are short, deep and brutal. Jigging is also the best option when the sea is too rough to pop.

What to expect

• Drops from 40 to 150 m on carefully marked pinnacles.
• Dogtooth tuna, amberjack, groupers, snappers and bonus GTs.
• Techniques to suit every level, and the crew will coach you.
• All reef fish are released. Fish brought up from deep water get extra care so they survive.
